It is very important to get a good night sleep for the physical and emotional
well being, it also helps in keeping your skin healthy.
You must get seven to nine hours of sleep every night for a better start of
the following day. Make assure that your bedroom has a peaceful and restful
environment, an atmosphere which is a comfort to all your senses.
Try not to have any distractions in your room, have no television, computers
or any kind of clutter in your room. If your room is a home office then have
some kind of decorative screen in front of your desk so it blocks the temptation
to work at rest time.
Always go to bed with no worries in your head. When you go to your room, your
mind should be free from all disturbing thoughts. Make a list of things you
are planning to do next day so you don't think of it while you are in the bed.
Decorate the room with calming and soothing colors. Have your walls painted
with the colors which say tranquil, soothing and peaceful. Decorate your bedroom
with accent pieces, your pillows, quilt, vase, lampshade in calming colors.
Make your room dark before you go to bed. Switch out all the lights, your glowing
alarm clocks and everything thing else which might disturb your sleep. If you
have lights outside your house which brings in light in your room then consider
having thick curtains which stop the light from coming inside. If your room
has unwanted sounds from a fan, humidifier, purifier or any other gadget then
it needs to go.
Your bed is the most comfortable place in your bedroom so choose the softest
and most comfortable bedding for your bed. Your pillow, comforter, mattress
and sheets should be carefully selected.

Set your room temperature between 65 - 70 degree at night. If you get up at
night for water then have a bottle ready by your side so you don't have to walk
to the kitchen for a it.
Wear comfortable clothes at the bed time. Loose cotton clothes are the best
choice for the night set. All eat light dinners so you can sleep peacefully
and happily.
