Transcend the limitations of traditional executable files exported from Flash with the addition of SWF Studio. Convert SWF files into robust stand-alone Window executables and screensavers using SWF Studio, gaining functionality impossible with Flash alone.
SWF Studio also works with SWF files created using Flash 3, 4, 5, MX and all of the other popular SWF enabled applications like Swift3D, KoolMoves, LiveMotion, SWiSH, and more...
Taking Flash beyond the browser, SWF Studio makes it possible for developers to create a new class of rich applications that provide a seamless desktop/web experience.
Enhanced Flash player version control allows you to bundle the Flash OCX of your choice with your projectors and have it temporarily installed on the end user machine, putting an end to frustrating Flash OCX configuration issues.
The first release of the Plugin SDK and Win32 plug-ins now enables you to develop your own extensions to SWF Studio.
Debugging complex projects is simplified with the addition of a visual console window to display output as the projector runs, much like Flash's output window. Control the size, position and what is written to the console window.

New V2.2 features include:
Plugin support is now fully enabled with licensing. The plugin SDK is free to download but you will have to contact Northcode to obtain a free serial number and license key for the plugins you build. Using an unlicensed plugin in your project will cause the projector to run in trial mode (Added in SWF Studio ver 2.2 build 66).
A new OCX settings tab has been added to provide control over the messages that are displayed if the Flash player installation fails. You can choose to display a message, fail silently or prompt the user to continue (Added in SWF Studio ver 2.2 build 66).
Added OnMouseWheel and OnMouseButton events to the Mouse notification functions so you can now trap mouse wheel movement and mouse button single and double click events in Flash.
Added Enum.Windows to return a list of running applications and core information about each application (Added in SWF Studio ver 2.2 build 66).
The App commands were also updated to accept a window handle (which Enum.Windows returns) instead of a partial window caption to identify target applications (Added in SWF Studio ver 2.2 build 66).
Added new Print commands (Print.GetPrinterList, Print.GetDefaultPrinter and Print.SetDefaultPrinter) to return the list of installed printers and query and set the default printer without displaying the SWF Studio or Windows print dialog boxes (Added in SWF Studio ver 2.2 build 66).
SWF Studio now tests more locations for a suitable temporary directory in case the Windows temporary directory is not writeable. Your projectors and screensavers will only fail to start now if none of these directories is writeable. In addition to the Windows default temp directory, SWF Studio now checks the root of the system drive, the My Documents folder and the Application Data directory (Added in SWF Studio ver 2.2 build 66).
Added the Browser.ShowBorder command to show/hide the 2 pixel border that appears around embedded browser windows (Added in SWF Studio ver 2.2 build 66).
Added the Browser.ShowBorder command to show/hide the 2 pixel border that appears around embedded browser windows (Added in SWF Studio ver 2.2 build 66).
Added support for SHIFT+CTRL+X to build and run the current project (Added in SWF Studio ver 2.2 build 66).
Removed the drop down on the Help button and switched to a dynamic menu instead so the help is easier to access (Added in SWF Studio ver 2.2 build 66).
