Loris Vector Map Engine (LVME) provides an easy way to integrate functionally rich interactive maps into any web application - from simple static HTML page to sophisticate database-driven sites.
The main module can work with external loadable vector (or bitmap) maps and provides map exploration (zooming, panning, etc.) and dynamic control functions (loading/interacting with a dynamic set of objects/layers on the map). Supplementary JavaScript Bridge provides connectivity functions. For example, the main module can be connected to database via set of JS Bridge functions; any object or even entire layer of objects can be visualized and controlled on the map.
