Demo Builder gives users complete control over each element that makes up their movie, making it easy to modify, edit and update. Output files can be exported as flash (SWF) files or as executable (EXE) files and Demo Builder has an inbuilt functionality that exports output files via email, to disk or upload via FTP and can export flash files with an HTML wrapper. The end result is high quality demos/tutorials that can effortlessly be made available on the web, on CD or through email, enabling businesses, organizations and individuals alike to visually communicate software help, tutor users on new software and systems and provide e-learning capabilities for their applications and systems.

DEMO BUILDER is an authoring tool used to create audio-visual Flash movies that show how software and systems work. It offers the ability to capture all actions taken in a running application, which can then be edited to produce interactive demonstrations and simulations. This makes it ideal for creating application simulations, presentations and interactive demos and tutorials.

Demo Builder works by taking a series of screenshots of a running application. It records the actions being taken in an application and is then able to demonstrate a simulation of these actions. Demo Builder can auto record the actions taken in the application or preferences can be set to manual recording, in which case you can manually take screenshots of the application.

Each screenshot taken by Demo Builder constitutes a frame that can then be edited to suit your required demo/tutorial. After you have recorded your actions within the application you can elaborate the recording by adding objects and visual aids and manipulating the time sequencing for frames, objects and visual aids in the editing Window.

When your movie is complete you can export files in three different formats: Flash(SWF), Flash + HTML, Executable files. Files can be exported via EMail, FTP or to your hard drive or disk.

Features:

  • Auto Recording :
Demo Builder automatically records all actions being taken on a running application by taking a series of screenshots. Any action taken activates Demo Builder to take a screenshot, this could be Mouse actions or Keyboard actions.
  • Manual Recording :
Manually take screenshots using Demo Builder's Hotkey feature. Use this feature to record only specific actions in an application and skip actions not required in your movie.
  • Flexible Screen Capture Window :
Demo Builder's Fit To functionality allows you to automatically fit the recording window to your chosen application. You can also customize the size of the screen capture window by selecting from a list of preset sizes, manually specifying height and width, or by simply dragging-and-dropping the corners of the recording window. [ see presentation... ]
  • Preferences :
Demo builder allows you to customise your recording preferences. You can set your recording preference to auto insert visual aids (Balloons, Cursors and Introductory notes), or to manually take screenshots.
