Gordon simplifies and accelerates Flash development and optimizes Shockwave Flash (SWF) files. With Gordon you can compress, unlock and edit Shockwave Flash movies without having access to the original .fla file. Gordon decompiles every ActionScript and accurately displays all movie elements of a published SWF file. Vector graphic and bitmap image can be easily exported to a variety of different formats including PDF and TIFF. MP3 and AIFF sound data can also be exported.

The only SWF decompiler and resource extractor for Mac OS X has been updated to version 1.4 with dramatic performance improvements and support for masked layers

New features:

  • You can now edit position, size and color transform information of all graphic symbols. Change any of the values in the Inspector and view the results on the Stage.
  • The Stage now renders masked layers. Mask and masked layers information is displayed in the Timeline.
  • Overall playback performance and quality improved dramatically. Timeline and Stage will now scroll and render more quickly.

Key features:

  • PDF and TIFF export
  • Features an easy to use Flash MX based user interface including context sensitive information panels. All graphic resources are displayed on the Stage while all control structures can be navigated inside the Timeline and Movie Explorer.
  • Read Flash 3, 4, 5, MX and MX 2004 format.
  • Split nested Movie Clips into single SWF files, that can be imported into Macromedia Flash.
  • Quickly update your previously published SWF files to compressed or uncompressed MX format.
  • unprotect or protect SWF files, change movie size, background color and frame rate. You can do all this without having access to the original FLA document or a Macromedia Flash application.
  • the capability to edit export and import assets
  • an expandable timeline that lets you view all frames at once.
  • a zoomable stage that may be dragged and clicked to select graphics.
  • a separate resizable library panel including a new font symbol preview.
  • Gordon is built for Mac OS 10.1 or newer and is 10.2 Jaguar compatible.

Not a rip, from my opinion.

How is a completely functional application a rip off? I think he developed it well.

Considering this is one of the only that supports Tiger and is more than a simple, cheesy shell script, I'd rate this at a good 8.

This guy's a rip off artist, whatever you do, don't give this guy money... the software doesn't work! (just try to change a link in the Actions... you can't save it!)

He knows this, too, and will NEVER return your emails.

Even worse, HE'S the one who fakes the glowing reviews in VersionTracker... what a lying SOB.

Here's his information, feel free to harass him to get your money back, but good luck, apparently there's no laws against this in Germany:
