myDVDEdit is a DVD-based spec editor designed to allow you to edit your previously built DVDs. The newest version of myDVDEdit includes a command editor allowing you to edit, add, and subtract commands in the PGC's pre- and post-command areas.
myDVDEdit wants to be to be with the DVD what ResEdit is with the programs on Macintosh, a tool which makes it possible to know, and (at least in a future version) to even modify the contents d'un DVD, on the level low. The format of the DVD is very complex. I especially endeavoured to make it possible, even if it means most accessible to leave side of information which, if they are important for the reading of the DVD by a reader, n'apportent anything with the person who would like simply to know her structure of it.
myDVDEdit cannot read the protected video DVD and will never know it. It n'a not created to circumvent the copyrights. It was created to include/understand how the DVD function, to help with the design of new DVD by allowing l'exécuter in step by step, and (when one can modify the DVD) to change the aberrations of certain DVD, like d'empêcher the change of language in reading, or to force the reading of bands advertisements before d'accéder with the menu.
Jérôme Cabanis, the author of myDVDEdit, has written a basic overview of his application's features and use.
