Butler, Samuel (1835-1902) - English satirist who emigrated to Australia
after graduation from Cambridge rather than join the Anglican Church.
Way of All Flesh (1903) - A novel that explores relationships between
parents and children and is, in part, based on Butler's own life. This
satirical criticism of English family life was published posthumously.
