of Medicine. Although little is known of his life, he is thought to have
been a man of high character and moral standards. His medical ethics
survive today as an oath administered to those entering medical practice.
The Law (400 BC) - A short treatise on the necessary training and
understanding of those who wish to practice medicine. One of the writings
which comprise what is now referred to as the Hippocratic Collection.
