Freud, Sigmund (1856-1939) - Austrian psychiatrist and neurologist; the
founder of psychoanalysis. He is regarded as a great innovater in the field
of psychiatry despite the fact that much of his work has been superseded.
The Interpretaton of Dreams (1900) - One of Freud's first and most
important reports on his studies of the subconscious. Freud believed this
work contained the most valuable of all his discoveries.
