tales directly from folk and fairy stories told to them by common villagers.
Hans in Luck (1812) - Hans receives a large bag of gold for years of service
to his master. On his way home, he trades the gold for a horse, the horse
for a cow, the cow for a pig, and so on until he is "lucky" to have nothing.
