Lincoln, Abraham (1809-1865) - The 16th president of the United States. He
was president during the American Civil War and is widely considered the
greatest American president.
Gettysburg Address (1863) - Lincoln dedicated the Gettysburg cemetery as a
monument to the soldiers who died at Gettysburg battlefield. This address
is one of the most renowned and most moving speeches in American history.
