One of about 150 fictitious prose dialogues expressing Landor's
personal views- in this case, about William Shakespeare. The
fanciful conversations in this piece concerning Shakespeare take
place between Robert Southey (1774-1843) and Richard Porson (1759-
1808) and also between John Milton (1608-1674) and Andrew Marvell
(1621-1678).
