Shelley, Mary Wollstonecraft (1797-1851) - An English author who was
best-known for her Gothic novels. She was the daughter of Mary
Wollstonecraft and William Godwin.
Frankenstein (1818) - Shelley's most famous novel is the well-known story
of a monster whose body is constructed out of parts of corpses by Victor
Frankenstein, a brilliant inventor. The monster is commonly called
Frankenstein after his creator, but Shelley actually gave him no name.
