Doyle, Sir Arthur Conan (1859-1930) - Scottish-born English writer known for
his detective stories based around the character of Sherlock Holmes. Doyle
was a physician before gaining fame as a writer and, in his later years, he
devoted most of his time to the study of spiritualism and the occult.
The Adventure of the Dancing Men (1903) - Holmes must solve a mystery
using dancing stick figures which reveal a coded message.
