PRETTY DANG GOOD!
First of all, the latest No Limit releases are sounding a bit different. Cuz in 1998, all the No Limit albums that came out basiclly sounded the same. But Mercedes, Fiend, Magic & now Mac's new album have a slighty different feel, but are all good! If No Limit stayed the same, you'd get sick of it. Anyway, this album is hot! by far, my faorite song is "Still Callin Me" that is like a slow tempo, freaky, sexy song, that just puts you right in the mood. Second best song is "Paradise" which features POPEYE (who is the best new No Limit Soldier with LOTS of skills). Other favorites are "Lockdown", "We Deadly"- which has a creepy beat to it that is so tight. and "Cops & Robbers"-which has a beat that sort of sounds like the beat from "What ya'll want-by EVE". This Album is hot, i definately recommend it! (P.S. I bet alot of you don't this...MAC used to be on CASH MONEY RECORDS before he got on No Limit!) also SOULJA SLIM (who is locked up at the present time) is a No Limit Soldier, but he too used to be on Cash Money Records, and Soulja Slim's brother is B.G. (who is on Cash Money). just thought you'd like to know that. Go cop MAC-WORLD WAR III
Macadon Excels Once Again
Mac (the best No Limit Soldier) comes with his Sophmore No Limit Album. He came with a better album than Shell Shocked. To say that it's great is an under statement. Mac is one of the best lyricists in the country and actually one of best ever.Mac worked with is PsychoWard clique on WW3 more than his previous album "Shell Shocked". This was his first album working with Soulja Productions, as well. He also had more time to shine by himself on this album than on Shell Shocked.
Excellent tracks include "Best Friends" (which reseurfaced on "Goodfellas")... a stirring narrative about a former friend turned enemy. "Like Before" features a bouncy New Orleans style beat by XL and Mac rips it. "We Deadly" has a sinister beat by TRU-Records producer Ke-Noe, and features a reinvigorated Master P. "Bloody" is a favorite that features Mac & Magic spitting fast rhymes over a sick XL beat. "Assassin Nation" has Mac spitting intense lyrism that only a Psycho Ward MC can bring you... Mac destroys tha beat that Raj'Smoove from the PsychoWard provides.
Mac went much deeper on this album than his last, with thoughtful lyrics on songs such as "Battle Cry", "Lockdown Remix", "Can U Love Me?", "Genocide", & "Father's Day"
I recomend this album to anyone who likes incredible lyricsm, great flow, and a unique style. Buy This Album!!! Support this man who's goin through a rough time right now and never got the recognition he truly deserves. Mac should be a superstar
COULD HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE BEST RAPPERS NATION WIDE
Mac had poor promotion. He was the best lyracist Master P ever had, and it seems, ever will have. Mystikal and Fiend had the tightest original styles, but this guy is the only cat who can honestly say that he had a nice original style, tight lyrics, and a deadly, consistent flow. No other rapper in the south has ever impressed me as much as mac. Too bad he didn't get the chance that so many "talentless rappers" nation wide have gotten. Stay up mac.
MOST UNDERRATED RAP ALBUM EVER
Buy this! this CD got it all! Mac is the greatest rapper (flow + lyrics) out of the South ever!
not one wack song on this one, good production, but Mac's presence overshadows the tightest beat you will hear!
awesome songs:
gutta style: Paradise (great guest appearance by Popeye & Samm!)
We Deadly (Mac + Master P rip it the hardest way)
Best Friends (cold chills guaranteed Part 1)
U Neva Know (tight chorus by Mia X, Mac snaps as usual)
club style: Like Before (for da ladies, fine production)
Just Anutha Thug (Mac & C-Murder, TANK DAWGS, need I say more?)
If It's Cool (Mac shows he can put out radio friendly s**t too)
slow type: Father's Day (cold chills guaranteed Part 2, you know when thugs cry, here is the answer)
Genocide (WHOA, Mac changes his rapping style, blows the track, this is da bomb)
Eyes of A Killer (cold chills guaranteed Part 3, just listen to him)
Lockdown 2 (for the n****s in jail)
all I can say is: MAC IS, IN MY OPINION, THE GREATEST RAPPER EVER, and I heard alotta rappers!
now he's locked down for life (like C-Murder said "I'm still depressed bout my n***a Mac"), support him, buy this one!
Mac One OF The Greatest Rappers Of Alltime
Mac is clearly one of the best rappers in the game.He is a gifted lyricist.Every track on this cd is vey well produced and Mac's intelligent and talented lyrics go together perfectly with them. This CD is truly a classic!
Even in present times there isnt that many artist that can write rhymes and flow like Mac can.World War 3 is clearly better than Shell Shocked(both CD's are great though).Mac has matured on this CD and there are a lot more deeper songs. To bad he's in jail,he would be extremely popular right now if he wasnt.
Buy World War 3 and Shell Shocked and listen to one of the best rap artist around, whos right up there with 2Pac and Notorious B.I.G. in overall talent.Keep your heads up Mac and C-Murder,we miss you guys but we still bumping your music and still supporting you!Much Love!!!!!!!!
