"For The Workforce, Drowning" (5/5): A powerful opener.
"Between Rupture And Rapture" (5/5): My favorite song on the album.
"Divison St." (4/5): A solid track.
"Signals Over The Air" (4/5): The lead single, good music with a good message.
"Marches And Maneuvers" (5/5): This song hits you like a blow to the chin.
"Asleep In The Chapel" (5/5): Probably my second favorite song.
"This Song Brought To You By A Falling Bomb" (5/5): A touching piano ballad.
"Steps Ascending" (4/5): I can't help but sing when this song comes on.
"War All The Time" (4/5): The second single, beautiful lyrics, great song.
"M. Shepard" (4/5): People should listen to this song so that nothing like that ever happens again.
"Tomorrow I'll Be You" (5/5): An amazing finale to an amazing album.Thursday follows up their amazing Victory release "Full Collapse" with their major label debut (Island Records) "War All The Time." I was skeptical coming into the album because Full Collapse is one of my favorite albums ever and I wasn't sure if they were going to pull out some great material. Well they proved me wrong for sure. This album is phenomenal. My favorite tracks include "Between Rupture And Rapture" "Asleep In The Chapel" and "For The Workforce, Drowning." Anyone who doesn't check out this album is missing out on a great musical experience.
Rating: Four and a half stars.
Thursday is a band that always gets me excited to listen to music. I first had doubts about "War All The Time" because I didnt think it would be able to live up to Full Collapse. I was blown away by this album. The whole CD is a piece of art. It starts off with "For the Workforce, Drowning", which happens to be my favorite song on the entire album. Its classic Thursday. Gripping guitar riff, great vocals, good drumming, and of course, screaming. My other favorite song on this album is the title track "War All The Time". This is Thursdays most political song to date. With lyrics like "war all of the time, in the shadow of the New York skyline, we grew up too fast, falling apart, like the ashes of an American flag, the sun doesnt rise, we replace it with an h-bomb explosion...". Now whether you agree with this political statement, it is a great song and makes you think. There are no bad songs on this album. Period. Buy this album. You won't regret it
War All The Time
This cd is pretty good. The guitar is great compared to any other "warped tour" type band. The drums are good, may not be that originall, but they still work and flow well with the other instruments. the vocals, well, the crying gets annoying after too much of this, but the energy involved is great. the lyrics are very good and intellegent, which is hard to find lately. But all the songs being about war/suicide and death does get old after a while. Overall its good stuff and its worth the $12.
READ MY TITLE. First off, i don't know how this is classified with poser wannabes yellowcard or whatever crappy band MTV throws at you. this is complex, well done rock. The lyrics are good, as is the music. emo has been given a bad name by crap rock bands like New found glory and the like. this is cool music, and you posers have ruined it for me to listen to by your "i love you mtv and crappy emo bands.

I was a fan of thursday for a long time before this cd came out. I was excited for its release but when it came out i have to say i was very disapointed they changed their whole style. What the hell were they thinking when they wrote Between Rupture and Rapture that song is painful for me to listen to. They used to be sweet and now they suck. This song brought by a falling bomb. Thats not thursday style at all. If you really want to hear good thursday songs check out the other two cd's at least they tried on those.
