ALBUM: Shell Shocked Lyrics By: Mac Be All You Can Be Beef Boss Chick Callin' Me Camoflauge Love Can I Ball Empire Meet Me At The Hotel Memories Money Gets Murder, Murder, Kill, Kill My Brother Nobody Make a Sound Paranoid Shell Shocked Slow Ya Roll Soldier Party Tank Dawgz The Game We Don't Love 'Em Wooo
Shell Shocked Reviews mac was the best on the tank Mac's shell shocked was released at a time when No Limit was reaching the peak of its fame. After several guest appearances on albums from C-Murder, Soulja Slim , and Fiend, the world was ready for Mac's solo album towards the end of 1998. As is the case with most No Limit albums, Shell Shocked is packed with appearances from Master P , Mystikal ,Snoop Dogg, C-Murder, Fiend, Silkk, Magic and many more. While the album is not quite as spiritual as World War 3, Mac shows us time and again his lyrical perfection. What is even more interesting is that Mac is capable of making simple rhymes sound charming. If you are a fan of NL music, you should cop this.Mac-Shell Shocked Mac's got a cool voice, and a tight delivery, and even if he's from No Limit, if you just listened to him you'd never know that he was. Just about all of the No Limit soldiers of '98 appear on this album Master P, Silkk The Shocker, Snoop Dogg, C-Murder, Mr.Serv-On, Big Ed, Fiend, Mystikal, Soulja Slim, Kane & Abel,2-4-1, Magic & Mia X. Plus his sister Storm is on a couple tracks. The best songs on here are "My Brother" which is my personal favorite, "We Don't Love Em", "Soldier Party" ,"Wooo" which is the posse cut on the album. "Boss Chick" "Callin' Me" "Meet Me At The Hotel" "Can I Ball" & "Beef". Its a real tight album and you gotta get it whether u like No Limit or not.Tightest Album released from No Limit !!!!! I must say I bought No Limit's Cd's everytime one was released, and I always noticed the cover of shell shocked inside the cover of previous cd's advertising it's release(coming soon) it seems to me this was a highly anticipated album, and believe me it was, when I first bought this album in 98, I was shocked at how Mac's rhymes were different from any other rapper on no limit, I expected him to sound somewhat of what I was used to hearing but I was wrong. I always said MAC was the best No Limit had to offer and Shell Shocked and all these helpful reviews will back that up. Mac raps on tha real not tha fakeBEST LYRACIST THE SOUTH HAS EVER SEEN I give Lil Wayne, Mystikal, Juve, B.G., Fiend, Flip, Luda, Outkast, UGK, & Slim (R.I.P.) props for being some nice M.C.'s, but "MAC" is the nicest M.C. the south has ever seen or heard so far. The only rapper in the south who can compare to this guy is "Scarface". Too bad he didn't get his chance to really shine. Stay up Mac.Quasi-Fenestral in its Sheer Pasquinaderie Not since Gambol Freer made a public renunciation of his obsolescent depilatory tactics in 1985 has the rap world seen anything like Mac's multi-thyrsoid panegyrics. Not that it matters very much, because such lubricious manticorical entities are about to become a dime a dozen, and getting there first won't count for much when all we'll want by then is a cool draught of C-major tonic! Did Mac (whose real name, by the way, is Stavros Mapplethorpe) ever stop to consider the ramifications of his rather glib brand of fatti maschii? Medoubts it highly. Plugging away at soft-core pulp is all he knows. And calling it "woolly bear" ain't gonna fool no one! Hell, even Snoop could tell his momma a thing or two.
Peace out, y'all.
