THIS CD IS ILL! You dont know rap music if you say this sounds ANYTHING like east coast rap....STOP LISTENING TO RAIDED AND LYNCH UR A DISGRACE TO THA 20SICX
Pure Classic...
This cd is really something else.Its so far ahead of its time and such quality it would shock most people if they havent heard of Raided.Every track on here is GREAT.As a first release,cd's dont really come much better than this one did.Even now when i hear it im still amazed.With X...the more you hear of him,the more u like him.At first listen i thought this was a good cd but nothing to really go crazy over.It only took about 2 more listens to totally get into it.A must buy for rap/gangsta fans alike
Prevent Those Ugly Rings...
...from forming on your hardwood coffee table by using this CD as a coaster for those frosty mugs. I got this album at the bargain bin for 20 cents...and it was worth every penny spent. Now my coffee table is protected. (You can always remove the lurid booklet if you don't want to be staring at this guy's ugly mug.)

Damn has anybody came any harder than X. In his freshman debut sacramento's hardest rapper came out with the siccist hits that have ever been spit on the mike. When I first heard him I was amazed. How hard can one man flow. Years passed and then I found myself looking for it, when listened to again its hard to believe its been over ten years since it came out. Way ahead of its time. After Brother Lynch's season of the siccness, the Garden bloc hasn't been the same. These are true classics, everybody should have them. X is still the hardest member of the Garden block and Psyco Active proves it.
Tender Ballads about Chaste Young Lovers
This is truly refreshing in today's sordid cultural climate: Here we have a nice young man who resists the blandishments of the modern popular music industry, defies the trend machine, and bravely sings heartfelt songs about the poignant memories of a young man's first love, the chaste kind of love one feels for an idealized beauty whom we revere as the embodiment of all our noblest longings. The solicitous way young Mr. Raided sings of the fairer sex brings a tear to my eye. I had thought such tender decencies had long ago fled this harsh world, but this fine young gentleman has proved me wrong and restored my faith in the young people of today. Unfortunately, I must subtract four stars from my five-star review because I detected a few stylistic infelicities that, here and there, tarnish his otherwise fine tenor singing voice. But I'm sure that with maturity and experience, he will grow up to become one of our most inspiring musical artists.
