It's raw, unrefined, and has bad vocals..
But I consider it a classic. This was the first NOFX CD I ever heard, back in the early 90's, and I didn't like it at first. It eventually grew on me, however, and now over a decade later I still find myself listening to it, as well as some of their other CD's. My biggest complaint with this album is not with the music, but with the fact that Fat Mike sounds like he's drunk and has a speech impediment on every song. I really like the hardcore punk sound on this CD but the sloppy vocals prevents a 5-star rating. I would recommend this CD to any old-school punk fan. However, if all you know about punk music is the crap they play on MTV (Fake punk like Good Charlotte & company), you may want to skip it.My favorite songs on Liberal Animation would have to be: Mr. Jones, Piece, Vegetarian Mumbo Jumbo, and Beer Bong.
really different of all other NoFx albums!
I enjoy the listening of Liberal Animation but not with same feeling that I would get while listening to White Trash, Two Heebs and a Bean for example! Liberal Animation do not contain big NoFX classics, but that's a good album, except the fact that Fat Mike voice don't worth crap on this CD!

This is really not the best NoFX album, none of the songs on it are well known! But it is a good one!
Not their best but better than any other punk out there

1.Shut Up Already:Good beginnig to the cd with great lyrics and guitars. 9/10
2.Freedumb:This song is O.K. but a little to short. 7/10
3.Here comes the neighboorhood: Great song with good riffs and funny lyrics. 8/10
4.A200 club: One of the weaker tracks on the C.D. because Mikes singing is totally off key and just is'nt as good as the restof the cd. 6/10
5.Sloppy English: decent song but a little F*cked up. 6/10
6. You Put Your Peanut Butter In My Chocolate: great song thats all i can say. 9/10
7. Mr.Jones: BEST SONG ON THE CD IF THE BEST BY NOFX. KICK ASS

8. Vegetarian Mumbo Jumbo: Funny song about not wanting to be a vegetarian. Third best. 10/10
9.Beer Bong: Great song with funny lyrics and good guitars and drums. The second best on the cd. 10/10
10.Piece: Good song, Not one of their best. 7/10
11.I live in a cake: The weakest track on here cuz it is too short and has stupid lyrics(Not funny But Stupid Lyrics)4/10
12. No problems: decent song with good riffs and lyrics. 8/10
13. On the Rag: Nice song but not a standout. 7/10
14: Truck Stop Blues: great way to end the cd. has a minute and a half intro but after that it goes righ to the Hardcore stuff like the rest of the cd. 9/10
Anyway, buy this cd, give it a couple of spins but just get it if you want to show off with all the Nofx cd. NOFX RULES!
