If it's Christina it's gonna be good!!
Christina aguilera is trying to get every lawsuit in the buisness to try and stop the release of this album which was recorded before her rca record deal, she claims it's not up to the standard which her fans have come to expect. Those who listened to the unorthurised (can't spell!) single 'just be free' will know it's a good tune to dance to no matter how much it doesn't make sense! if this album is any thing like that i think fans will be pleased. It will also give dedicated fans (like myself) a chance to hear 'new' christina music while waiting for her next REAL album. Hurry up xtina were waiting!I will probaly buy this album just because i would like to have every song christina has sung. She is sooo good and any one who has a seen her new VHS my reflection will know...she can sing live. Anyway here's the track list....

This is NOT her new cd!
I keep hearing people saying that they got her 'new cd' and it's horrible. This is not her new cd. She recorded these songs when she was 14 and she didn't want it released. I agree some of the songs are repetitive and a bit boring, but some of these are great. I really like Just Be Free; it's a nice dance song with a good beat and i like the way she sings on it. I also really like Believe Me. It is a meaningful song and i can see people relating to it. you can tell she contributed to the writing of that one cause it talks about being excluded cause you are different, and that's what kids did to her when she was younger. Listen to the words and you can tell. Move It is a good song, both the dance mix and the regular one. I like Running Out Of Time and By Your Side also. The spanish version of Just Be Free is good; you can hear her rapping in spanish in the background and it sounds really cool. Even though these aren't the best songs, her voice is good. She was only 14 and you can hear how mature her voice is. She sounds like she does now only a teeny bit different and not as powerful. But the talent is there.
Just Be Free
Ok, first off as some of you know Christina never wanted this released. It was meant for a demo, for music label insiders only. Well fast forward a few years and here it is released to the public. I first bought the "Just Be Free" Maxi-CD when 'What a Girl Wants' was released. And this "Album" isnt that bad. Yeah almost all the songs are cheesy and they sound dated (and they are). The title track "Just Be Free" is a remix by one of the Berman Brothers, famous for their work with dance diva Amber, and stands out above all the rest. The title song could have been released to radio and it would have been, in my opinion, a club stomper. Bottum-line, die hard Christina fans will buy this album to add to their "Xtina" collection. For a casual listener skip it.
BETTER THAN ANY OF BRITNEY'S ALBUMS!!!!!!!
tHIS ALMBUM HAS A REALLY BAD SOUND, BUT CHRISTINA'S VOICE IS INCREDIBLE. Christina Aguilera is a great artist, she born with a natural talent and she shows that in this cd. Is amazing how she sing in this cd with just 14 years old. Even with this bad sound this cd is better that any of the albums of Britney.
I love Christina
Christina has an awesome voice. And I love her. But this CD is horrible. And, if you read the insert, she is embarrased that they released it (She apparently didn't want it released). Some fools out to make a buck. Get her newer stuff...don't get this. Not good.
Recorded shortly before the she recorded her multi-platinum self-titled release, this is truly Christina's first album. Just Be Free is a balanced mix of touching ballads, mid-tempo songs and hi-energy club songs.
