THINGS YOU CANT DO, CREEP INN, GET GONE, JEALOUS SKIES, GET DOWN WITH ME.. A VERY TIGHT DEBUT

Not a bad effort
When I bought Ideal's cd a while back, I hadn't heard a single song off of it. But everyone was talking about these guys being the next big thing and that the song "Get Gone" was real hot. So i bought this album expecting a little too much I guess, cause when I gave it my first listen I wasn't all that impressed. Some of the songs are just plain, with little emotion, and I feel that Maverick just doesn't have what it takes to be a lead vocalist. However, there are some bright spots on this one. I just love the songs "Creep Inn" and "Jealous Skies". "Get Gone" although not what I hoped for, is still very respectable and I can see why it was a hit. It sort of reminds me of a lot of the songs on R. Kelly's last album "R". I know a lot of R&B fans will enjoy this album, so i really depends on one's taste's. I'm more of a Jodeci, New Edition, Jagged Edge man myself.

This is a great cd. I like almost every track on this album.

It's got soft deep beats and mellow R&B tracks. "Get Gone", "Sexy Dancer" and "Jealous Skies" are just some of the good tracks on this album. Overall, it's a nicely balanced album that I'm sure any R&B fan won't wanna be without.

Go out and get it now! It's G--damn law. You have been warned.

To be honest, the only reason I bought Ideal's album was because I couldn't get enough of that song "Creep Inn". I love that song to death, but the rest of the album is good too. Some of the songs kind of sound the same, but one of the reasons why you don't notice this is because THE BOYZ CAN HARMONIZE! You can't find too many goups out there who can sing together and sound good doing it. Ideal is definitely a group to look out for.

Does anyone know that new song?
Hey whats up. I allready know about the song "get gone" on the radio, but I was listening to my favorite station Hot 97 in NY, and I heard this other new song by ideal. I thought it was called something like whatever you wanna do, or I like it cuz they say that alot in the hook. Does anyone know this song? let me know, ideal is da bomb!!!!!
