Another great showing from NOFX
Heavy Petting Zoo is perhaps NOFX's best album to this day. There isn't a bad song on this album, and like most of NOFX's CD's, it is filled with fast guitars and great lyrics. The opening instrumental sequence in 'The Black and White' is definately one of the best I've ever heard in any song of any genre. This CD doesn't sound like others from NOFX, which makes them a good band...they stay true to punk but their albums aren't repetitive at all. You really just have to buy this CD and support the legends.
its good
this is a good nofx...not as good as PID or SLATFATS obviously..but its good...the best songs are philthy phil, freedom lika shopping cart, bleeding heart disease,...i forget some of the other songs but they're also good. my favorite song on the cd is probably drop the world..its a rad punk song. get this cd even though some people may've said nofx slowed down a little..yeah this cd is slower than their other releases but its good..and its nofx..thats the main reason to get it.

this is defenitely a good nofx album but the little booklet in the cd case is really sick but the songs r good and it is a soft album but still goods
Ive listend to this cd a few times and...
One song on the cd is worth buying it for but you get the bonus of all the rest of the songs. And that song is Drop The World.
That is the all time greatest song. But the rest of the album is also prety good. The reason it sounds different from there other albums is because it was recorded in russia (thats what it said on there site).

Well, heavy petting zoo is a great typical NoFX album, without a lot of surprises, which a little forseeable sometimes! But it delivers the goods with songs like Hot dog in a hallway, the black and white or Philty phil Philantropist for example! In resume this is a good NoFX album!
