ALBUM: Gravity Lyrics By: Da Bush Babees Gravity Intro Maybe Melting Plastic S.O.S. The Love Song The Ruler
Gravity Reviews Effin Supreme The Bush Babees restored my faith in hip hop at a time when i felt like it had started to slip. I did not hear this album until 97, but it's an excellent album. The Love Song and SOS are out of this world. And how did these fellas ever conceive some of those other beats?????? Full marks to the babees for hot beats and even hotter lyrics. Other emcees need to take a page from these cats to understand just how it's really done. I'm fiending for the day when rap returns to tight lyrics and contagious beats (Babees, DeLa, Quest, KRS, Kane, Puba, Gangstarr, Biggie,..........)A very well done and organized album. Gravity portrayed the Bush Babees as young men now as opposed to their first album. A definite hip hop classic.Bush Babees, where are you!?!? This album is still so fresh - even after 8 years. I've had it since it came out and it's one of those rare albums you can listen to over and over. Seems a lot of people never got to know about them. Such a shame. However, pure quality outlasts all the mediocre bullstuff in the long run. If you like the sounds of Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, Mos Def, De La Soul, Talib, DJ Spinna, etc. etc. this is for you. Don't hesitate: get it. Dope lyrics, a lot of energy, different topics, couple of dope cameos and some BEAUTIFUL beats!!! Pure niceness. So, now in 2004 i gotta wonder: Bush Babees, where y'all at????# 1 FAN FIRST OFF THIS ALBUM IS A CLASSIC. IT DISPLAYS ALL ELEMENTS OF HIP HOP AT IT'S GREATEST ERA. AT A TIME WHEN HIP HOP SUFFERED GREAT LOSS, THIS ALBUM SHINED. I'VE BEEN A FAN OF THEM SINCE 1993 WHEN I FIRST HEARD THEM. ANOTHER THING, THEY TAKE IT BAKE TO THE ORIGIN OF HIP HOP: JAMAICA! ALL HIP HOP HEADS KNOW THE FATHER OF HIP HOP CULTURE IS DJ KOOL HERC, A JAMAICAN NATIVE. THE BEST MEMBER OF THE GROUP MR. HANNA(LIGHT, Y-TEE) REPRESENTS ALL "YARD MASSIVE" TO THE FULLEST. ...Bush Babees is so TIGHT YO man, this is good hip hop, with good regga mix, if u love hip hop and dancehall regae you will enjoy ths cd very much
