Quite possibly the greatest rap album ever produced.
If you are looking for some awesome rapping and some mad beats then this is the best cd. Hand that Rocks the Cradle, Real with This and FBI are really good songs. The Dayton Family blows away No Limit, these are the best rappers I have ever heard.
HARDEST ALBUM EVER MADE.
DAYTON FAMILY IS THE MOST UNDERRATED GROUP IN RAP MUSIC. THEY DON'T GET THAT MUCH PUBLICITY ON T.V. OR RADIO, PROBABLY BECAUSE
THEY SPIT THE HARDEST AND REALEST LYRICS I'VE EVER HEARD. THEY
"BOOTLEG AND SHOESTRING" ARE FROM FLINT MICHIGAN, ANOTHER REASON
WHY YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE HEARD OF THEM. THERE IS A VERY STRONG SENSE OF REALISM IN THERE LYRICS, WHICH ARE HARD AND STRAIGHT TO
THE POINT. IF YOU HAVEN'T HEARD THIS C.D. I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU
BUY IT, I CAN'T PRAISE THIS ALBUM ENOUGH, IT IS A RAP CLASSIC.

I agree with the reviewers Peghc and Cupid, Dayton Family iz one of tha hardest rapperz out there and i wish alot of people know dem. But they are busy listenin to their bling bling bubblegum rap pop muzik G-unit, Jay-Z, Chingy, Nelly crap. But I have to say that gangsta rap listenaz should pick up thiz album (Not G-unit, they are not gangstaz). Theze foo's can spit and Shoestring be soundin mad in tha songz and snappin...One of tha top best albumz I got. Also check out other real talented Michigan rapperz like Esham, Natas, Top Authority, Jake the Flake, and F.O.D.(Faces Of Death). (But Not Eminem & D12)

This is my second favorite rap album, 1st would be brotha lynch hung- season of da siccness. All the beats are top quality and the rappers are some of the best i have heard.My favorite songs on this are hand that rocks the cradle and layer haters featuring the great esham. This is the real deal, yall pop rapper listeners need to start listenin ta tha real [thing] like this. Pick this up if you havent already.
michigan gangstas
Forget eminem...The Dayton Family are the real Michigan rap game repsentatives (Esham too). This album came out eight years ago and "What's On My Mind" came out ten years ago...and i never get sick of listening to them (Dopehouse bangs also). The Dayton Family is 100% real..not 99% fake(mtv/mainstream). So buy this CD, and if you can't handle the rawness, just keep listening to your Jay-Z and Ludacris CDs.
