Art Of War Reviews

Art Of War Brings In Most Harmonic Side of Bone
Art of War isn't nothing like Bone Thugs -N- Harmony's classic LP, East 1999 Eternal, but this a very well constructed double disc. Many people say that it was better to make this a single CD but it's good the well it is. While East 1999 Eternal brought the thuggishness of Bone, this LP brings out their harmonic side. The best songs on Disc 1 (World War 1) include:

Handle The Vibe, Look Into My Eyes, It's All Mo Thug, Ready 4 War, Ain't Nothing Changed, Clog Up Ya Mind, It's All Real (Krayzie Bone solo), Mind Of Souljah (Layzie Bone solo), If I Could Teach The World and Family Tree. The best songs from World War 2 are:

Thug Luv(featuring 2Pac), Hatin Nation, 7th Sign (Bizzy Bone solo), Wasteland Warriors, U Ain't Bone (dissed Crucial Conflict, Do or Die and Twista), Getcha Thug On (Wish solo but it can get a lil boring), All Original, Let The Law End, Evil Paradise, Mo Thug Family Tree.

Overall, both CD's are evenly matched and have some of Bone's best songs ever. Even though some songs get repetitive, the good songs surely outweigh the bad song. Go cop this double disc TODAY.

Rapping in its Purest form
it's been 2 years since the multi-platinum, grammy award winning album e.1999 eternal was released, the anticipation and hype for the art of war were very high, and when the album was released bone thugs did not dissapoint, continuing with their line of near flawless albums, bone released this 2-disc album the art of war, the first disc, world war 1, starts off with another tight intro which has become a bone tradition, handle da vibe is next and is simply a track where bone displays there quick flows, look into my eyez is next, the single is one of the albums tightest tracks, body rott is one of the hardest songs on the album, it's all mo thug is the first song on the album that features flesh, flesh does not dissapoint, ready 4 war features majesty from bizzy bone's 7th sign label, the song is tight, ain't nuthin changed(everyday thang part 2) is a tight song, unfortunately it isn't nearly as tight as everyday thang and it doesn't feature flesh, it's all real is a krayzie bone solo which is flawless, mind of a souljah is a layzie bone solo and is the tightest track on ww1, teach the world is next and is an exceptional song perfect for radio and video play, family tree ends ww1, a great song, ww2 opens with a little skit, then kicks to the greatest and hardest song ever made, thug luv featuring the late-great tupac shakur, many people say notorious thugs is better, but I like the darker and harder feel of thug luv, and biggie smalls, although he is a great rapper, cannot compare with tupac's lyrical skills, hatin nation is next and it is a playa hata anthem that was very well executed, 7th sign is a bizzy song featuring majesty, unfortunately bizzy does not have a solo on this album, neither does flesh, wasteland warriors with souljah boy is next and is one of the tightest songs, the beat is perfect and the way krayzie opens the song is flawless, u ain't bone is a song that just lets all tha phakas out there know what's up, get cha thug on is the wish solo, it is the worst out of the solo's but is still an above average rap song, all original is another song that lets the hatas and phakas know what time it is, let the law end is a great authority bashing song, whom die they lie sounds like a mid-80's song but is very, very tight, friends is a tight song that borrows a sample from whodini, evil paradise is a decent song, not one of the better tracks, and the last song mo thug family tree uses the same beat as family tree from disc 1, this song features various mo thug artists, unfortunately like creepin... and e.1999... art of war does not feature flesh on very many tracks, but the other 4 thugs bizzy krayzie wish and layzie hold their own

MY FAV CD EVER!
First of all, i dont understand how anyone could ever diss this cd! This was my first bone thugs cd and i bought it for "look into my eyes" and "thug love" instead of just gettin those songs i was introduced into a whole new style of rap. I have a long commute everyday and i just put in disc 1 play it threw then disc 2 and play it threw and repeat. THIS CD NEVER LEAVES MY STEREO! Another plus about this cd is the quality of the music, havin subs in my car really shows the skills of bone, they have real sharp and deep bass, tightest music to chill to.
there is no need to rate any of the songs, they are all perfect! BUY THIS CD

E. 1999 it Aint
If this was any other group I'd probably give this LP 4Stars but compared to Bone's previous works it was an initial disapointment. I've grown to like it over the years though, for it's production and lyrics and because it blows away anything any rappers put out in the last 5 or so years. Also it has to many weak songs. It's still way better than BTNH Resurection though as far as just about everthing. If your a fan of good rap music you should check it out.

Not Bones Best! But they still the best to do it yet!
