The legendary power metallers' debut
It's Accept's first album! While not as consistent as most of their other albums, this one still has plenty of great power metal riffs from Wolf & Jörg. Singer Udo Dirkschneider doesn't sing quite as good as he does on later albums, but even on this album he's one of the best rock singers ever. There are also a few songs where bassist Peter Baltes sings. There are some slower & more melodic songs here, but by the standards of slow songs, they're good. This album is essential for all Accept fans."The Motor-saw was kindly given to us by Fichtel & Sachs" - liner notes
good debut
raw and direct to the point. A goo hard-rocking album, but not Accept's best.
Underrated
It's a shame more people don't give this album more credit than it deserves!! Tired of Me is my all time favorite song. The album opening of Lady Lou and Tired of Me I think is the best one-two punch in music history! Take Him In My Heart has my favorite guitar solo. Many Accept fans will agree that Seawinds is the best of the Peter Baltes-sung songs. Yet this album is just #5 on my list of top 5 Accept albums. Why? Because I think of it as having Accept's highest and lowest points on one album. While the songs I mentioned are great, it also has not-so-great songs in Helldriver and That's Rock and Roll....that is, compared to future Accept stuff. For more information on Accept, e-mail me.
