No Ice Cube, but still Phat
It took me a while to get use to this EP without hearing Ice Cube's voice on it. Eventhough without Ice Cube, this EP is still pretty phat with great lyrics and production. The best tracks on here are "100 Miles And Runnin'" and "Sa Prize". However, you might have to buy this at a used CD store. Buy this along with "Straight Outta Compton" And "N####z4Life" if you don't already have 'em.Peace out.
Controlling the 1990's
This EP brings back some good memories. Though clearly missing Ice Cube, Dre and co. were able to come up with some decent stuff. A good collectors item for old-schoolers.
It's no Straight Outta Compton...BUT what is?
It was good back in '90, with the title track kicking other groups of the time off the block, making the posse(minus Cube) settle with a mediocre 5 track album. I was only 11 when this album came out, and it was only a tape where I came from, and it was still $14.00. I mean jeez, $3.00 a track almost. It wasn't THAT good. Still, production from Dre, and Yella, made it just that good, good enough to say it is worth buying at the time.
Good effort.
YES!
This album still kicks booty! This is the one that got me into the style - the production is right on.
